Flower Girl

2 minutes later, Derrick walked out of the dressing room as a 4 year old girl. He managed to slip the shoulder straps over, but didn’t have the dexterity to button up the back. He held the flower girl dress up as he walked out. Dad cracked a grin seeing his 18 year old son as a 4 year old girl. Derrick turned his back to Mom as she helped button up the dress. Mom immediately noticed the dress was too big. She would have to bring it in a few inches.

For the next 20 minutes, Dad sat in a chair talking to Derrick while Mom made her measurements and adjustments. Derrick and Dad both excitedly talked about the basketball game. To anybody else, it would have appeared strange for a 4 year old girl to have so much basketball knowledge.

Derrick’s shapeshifting power was going to run out soon. He asked Dad if it would be ok to shapeshift into a 21 year old so he could drink a beer at the game. After momentarily considering Derrick to become a 21 year old, Dad shook his head ‘no’ after seeing Mom’s scolding reaction. Mom also added the fact that if Derrick shapeshifted into a 21 year old, he would be stuck like that for 2 days. Somebody else had to use the shapeshifting medallion before Derrick could use it again. Katyln was next to use the medallion because her ‘grounding’ would be over. Katlyn had been stuck as a bird for the past 4 days. Katlyn was also helping Mom tomorrow with more fitting adjustments.

Suddenly, as they continued to talk………….
