Mike had come up with a new idea for his adventure novel. He had quite the reputation as a writer for always including a very detailed point-of-view from his characters. He had a knack for intimate details that always gave the reader a real-life account. His secret was the shapeshifting medallion. It was easy to become the character he was writing about with the medallion. It gave him the perspective he needed to write his novels.
His wife, Denise, was accustomed to Mike’s research. It wasn’t uncommon for her to come home to a stranger in the house. Denise understood it was necessary for Mike’s work.
