Harold was a 41 year old fat and balding man. During high school he played football and went out with one of the cheerleaders, who would later become his wife. His wife passed away some years ago but not before giving him his, 23 year old daughter named Courtney and 18 year old son Kyle. Courtney still lived at home and was currently undergoing a beauty course while Kyle was an underachieving nerd who plays video games all day.
Harold's grew interested in antiquing after watching several shows on it while he was recovering from a leg injury that ended the possibility of a football career. The moment he heard about the museum's action he dropped everything to attend.
"Here we have a rather remarkable piece, a medallion thought to belong to a civilization long forgotten but that has since been dismissed. The medallion's metal in genuine though and worth quite a bit. Also including in this auction is the translation, which acts as a fluff piece", the auctioneer explains as he shows the crowd the medallion. "Shall we start the bidding at $100?"
Harold didn't care if the medallion's history was dismissed as he has always believed in the strange and mystical and he had to have that item. After about 10 minutes he gets his wish as the medallion is his for just $80.
Once at home he reads the translation that came with the medallion and finds it to be rather humorous, I mean come on a shapeshifting medallion, could such a thing be real. For now he ignores it and puts it and the translation in his rather empty trophy cabinet.
Later that night _________ decides to see if what the translation says is real
