Naturally after class, James was walking through the hall to his next class. In the hall, the school bully, Sylvester was talking to (as he put it) on one of the students. The other student considered it more of harassment than just a chat. James decided to help the boy. But he didn't know what to do. He didn't want to swap anything between the Sylvester and anyone else because that person didn't deserve it and James was still new at this and didn't make to let any know about what he could do. He also wanted to make a permanent change this time since if he didn't the bully would just return to bullying after he was returned to normal.
Then James got an idea. He could swap something inside Sylvester alone. He didn't know if it was possible, but it was worth a shot. James swapped what Sylvester thought that he should wear with what Sylvester thought that a girl should wear. He didn't have to use a real girl to swap, this was just Sylvester's perception of himself. Suddenly Sylvester became uncomfortable with what he was wearing. he didn't know how he got into these clothes they seemed so gay to him although he was wearing a normal jeans and T-shirt outfit that pretty much all the boys were wearing. What he wanted to wear was something frilly and in pastels. The frillier seemed more appropriate for him. he was totally embarrassed by what he wore now and had to get out of here before more people saw him. He ran for the doors and out the school. Unlike Rick, Sylvester ran all the way home.
Once there, he couldn't find a stitch of clothing that wasn't totally embarrassing to him. The closest clothes he could find and they weren't perfect, they were something that an 'old woman' would wear were the clothes in his mother's closet. He didn't know what to do.
Back at school, James relished the idea that he had a new way to swap people that didn't require two people. James realized that he could also swap a trait of someone with no one and remove that trait from one person alone. He could simply do something like swap a persons high school education with nothing and that person would only be as smart as he was in middle school. That might be fun to try. Or he could swap a person's modesty with nothing wouldn't that liven the school? Maybe when he had more practice with his powers would he try such things.
