Little Sister Takes Over

         Beth and Charlie confer for a moment, and then decide it would be worth it to humor Lily in her attempts to hypnotize them if they can sell-off most of the rest of their cookies at one stop. “Okay, we’ll do it, but then you gotta buy all our cookies” demands Beth.

         “Naturally. Now, the two of you sit here on the couch and relax and we’ll start, shall we?”, implores Lily, who plucks a couple of decorative feathers from an arrangement in the hall, and then sashays behind the couch, “Now, some hypnotists use a watch, while others use a pendulum. I prefer to use feathers is all. So gaze now on the mystic, sacred feathers. Watch as they fly and glide, free and soft, without a care in the world. You are the feathers Beth and Charlie”, coaxes Lily while the girl scouts giggle a little, still in control of their facilities, but already drifting as they stare at the feathers that Lily causes to dance in front of them.

         “Yes! Look at the feathers. Watch the feathers dance and play. Stare at them as you let them take you further and further away, to a soft, dreamy land of sleepy laughter and giggles. Sleeep now. Goood, you are now fully asleep and ready to do whatever I tell you to do.
