Luckily Chloe lived close by, you noticed that while you were walking her to the door she wasn't actually leaving a slime trail behind. You couldn't help but wonder if that was a natural ability of hers or if it was something she had to learn to control.
"Well this is the building the government gave me." she said shyly.
"The government?"
"That's right, born and bred by the government. But I did so well on my last mission they decided to give me my freedom." Chloe said as she sat opposite to you.
"They gave you this whole entire building?!" you asked incredulously.
"I was a very good agent. So... Is there something you wanted to do before we officially end our date?"
Taking the hint you leaned in and kissed her on the lips. Kissing her was an odd sensation, it was like kissing soft served ice cream that was layered in honey. You finally break the kiss and wipe some of her slime off of your lips.
"That was different!" you say.
You look down to see that Chloe had melted into a puddle with a dreamlike smile on her face.
"Are you okay?"
"Never better!" chirps Chloe.
You shrug and walk yourself home thinking this was the last time you'd ever see her again. But you were wrong, you would see her not only soon but tomorrow morning.
