This choice: A decently well off Houndoom guy • Go Back...Chapter #4Hans the Houndoom Officer by: Kinfux   The city is becoming a pool of corruption, and it’s up to the few of you remaining who are willing to stop it. Predators lurk every corner, unwilling prey swallowed every day. The city has chosen to look away, perhaps even encouraging the dark pleasures the community as it continues to indulge itself. Sure, you’ve seen a few shows at the local club, maybe even got a bit attracted yourself, but those prey are willing and desire nothing more than to be brewing in the gut of a predator.
You are a male Houndoom named Hans, intent on stopping the illegal predatory activities in the streets of the city. If no one stops this madness, the city is going to fall apart! You are quite strong, your bulk would be hard for any predator to swallow while you struggle, making you a great anti-predator. Joining the police department was a difficult choice, but you decided to go with it about a week ago. They say if you are lucky, you might find yourself retiring within a few months, but most end up missing, probably food for a lusty predator. Being a new member, the squad put you in training for a week before setting you loose with your own partner. You’ve learned a lot the past week, but it’s time you are assigned a unit and partner. You walk into HQ, a slight smirk can be seen on your black snout. You made it, its time to become an officer!
“Hey Hans! Guess you made it, huh?” A stuffy masculine voice chimes in from behind: Jeff. Jeff was the department’s nerd, never going out in the city himself, but keeping inside and doing all the paper work. Couldn’t expect too much from him though, he was a thin Pikachu that would almost certainly end up as a small cushion of fat for a predator.
Hey Jeff.” Is all you could respond.
Oh boy, I hear you get to choose your own partner!” Jeff squeals. Really? You thought you would be assigned one at random. You walk to the interview room where badging is being done. Sure enough, there are other trainees waiting. It seems you were the last one in. Now would be a good time to choose who you want be by your side.
You see Axea, a female Arcanine. She can hold herself, usually trying to think out situations before acting. You would make a great fit, your bulk and her brains, right? That and you've been caught a few times starring at her ass in training.
You see Nella, a female Buizel. She's a bit timid and small, but she is great at sneaking and quick on her feet. She might get into trouble more easily, but she would be a great distraction.
You see Zaal, a male Umbreon. He's always got a cheerful attitude, and he's pretty well rounded. His black fur helps him blend in, he has a decent bulk, and he thinks before his actions. Something's strange about him though, you can't quite figure out what.
