" It's actually quite simple the King had once said that the land belongs to his subjects and he would rule his subjects with Just Laws and complete fairness. The land owned by the King however is used for troops of the kingdom first. The King may have bought a lot of land, but that land is meant for those going to war. Which means if he bought all the land we wouldn't have any for the people who are staying here." you replied.
" I understand, but these are peaceful times, so the King wouldn't need the land anyways." Your wife said. You both believed in the King and your children were far too young to understand the complexities of war. You and your wife then went to have dinner and then went to get rest for the night.
