“Achoo!” Antala sneezed. The young succubus wiped frozen snot from her nose and shivered as she curled her wings up and started to form a large wall of ice. Antala was in the middle of rebuilding her igloo that was damaged in a storm. She was a succubus who used to be one of the queen’s guards, but due to a massive failure on her part, mostly due to clumsiness, Antala had been banished to Alaska. Succubi were creatures that were so very used to warmer environments, so Antala was clearly not enjoying herself with all the cold and was shivering with every step.
“I hate cold weather,” muttered Antala. “Stupid queen. It’s not like I meant to destroy the back wall of the city. I just tripped. These things happen. I surely didn’t deserve to be banished for this.” Antala begun to huff and puff and then sneezed again, blowing away the building materials she needed to complete her repairs.” The succubus grumbled as her red skin was turning an icy blue. “Oh great,” complained Antala. “Now I need to find more ice. It’s not pretty being me.” Antala grumbled and walked out to gather more ice and snow into a bucket in order to build her igloo. Unfortunately for her, she didn’t notice that she was walking out over the frozen sea and the ice underneath her feet was getting thinner and thinner. The ice started to crack and as soon as Antala filled up her bucket, the ice finally broke and Antala screamed as she fell into the ocean.
Antala grabbed herself and shivered. The water was more than 50 Below and it didn’t help that Antala was nowhere near properly dressed for the weather. Antala grabbed herself and shook in discomfort. “I hate the cold!” complained Antala. “I hate the cold! I hate the cold! I wish there was some way that I could survive in this horrible environment! If only I had thick fur, or even feathers! I wouldn’t care if I was 1000lbs fatter if it would help me beat the cold!” Antala was crying as she struggled to climb back out of the freezing water. However, Antala was not alone in the water, for something big and hidden by shadows with glowing white eyes let out a bellow as it swam under the water. It was dark and forboding, looking aquatic and mammalian at the same time.
The strange creature was clearly looking around for prey when it spotted Antala and no doubt mistook her for something tasty. The creature swam forward just as Antala had finally managed to climb out of the water and back onto the ice. Without warning, the creature bit Antala by the tail and made her scream as she jumped and flew through the air like a frightened skua. Antala landed back on solid (albeit frozen) ground and blew on her tail before she looked down at her hooves and groaned. “At least I didn’t lose those to frost bite. And to top it all off, something bit me. I hate this place!”
Antala had eventually managed to repair her igloo and was sitting inside in front of a fire that was quickly going out. “No!” yelled Antala. “No! No! Don’t go out! Not now! Ugh!” Antala then yelled in pain because her belly touched the fire and made her stand up. Antala looked in the reflection on the icy wall and saw that her belly was bulging out. “What the?! Whoa!” Antala’s belly was still growing bigger and Antala gasped as she started to undergo a strange mutation.
