You sat there in a state of pure shock and disbelief. You don't even hear the congratulations that everyone gives Denise or the people who file out of the room. It went to her. The promotion went to Denise. She was your boss now. You were so fucking screwed! You must have sat there a few minutes just processing what had happened. When you came to you saw the room empty. At the door a grinning Candice looks at you smugly.
"Oh the look on your face is priceless Rob. I wonder how long you'll last with Denise as your boss? Think I should already start helping you pack your desk up?"
You clench your fists with impotent anger.
"When your done moping Denise wants you in her office better run along now - if you make her wait she'll probably just fire your ass."
This was a nightmare! You resist the urge to scream and rant and hurry down toward Denise's new office - the office of the senior manager.
The evil blond was waiting for you. Her footwear was already off and you could see her red painted toes glisten. You felt sick to your stomach. You hated feet. It was the lowest part of the body.
"Do you want to keep your job Rob?"
You swallow thickly.
"Y-Yes."
"That's 'Yes ma'am' to you Rob."
Swallowing your pride you respond as she wants you to. "Yes ma'am."
"Do you remember our earlier conversation Rob."
You do your best not to whimper. "Yes ma'am."
"Ah lets see how did it go again? I believe I said: Mark my words... You WILL kiss my feet. It is now my top priority, I will have you under my feet, I will have your paycheck and you will be my slave!" She grinned viciously at you.
She let her words hang in the air. Was she really going to do this? She couldn't could she? Wasn't this sexual harassment? Even as you thought of it you dismissed it out of hand. No one would ever believe in this era that a woman would sexually harass a man! No one would believe it if you tried to report her. You can't help it, you let out an involuntary whimper that causes her to start laughing.
"Oh my this is just too wonderful. Every word I said will come true Rob. Now if you want to keep your job get down on your knees and crawl, yes CRAWL over here. When you get here I want you to kiss my feet and beg me not to fire you."
You felt sick to your stomach. The thought of kissing anyone's feet was disgusting but kissing your arch rival's feet? The humiliation was on a whole different playing field. But what choice did you have? The bitch could probably fire you. Yes you could appeal it but with the new power structure centered around Denise the rest of the office would see the writing on the wall and back her side of any story. If you valued your career you had to do it. But could you? Could you really force yourself to kiss feet?
