"Alright I guess," You barely answered, trying not to show the cute new girl how pissed you were
Without asking Michelle took a chair nearby and sat crossing her legs , you couldn't help but notice her cute open toed flats, showing her sexy toes.
She was balancing her shoe as she rocked it back and forward as she talked. Avoiding peeking at those sexy feet was really hard, in fact just seeing a part of her arch and her heels was truly hypnotising.
"Is everything ok James?" She suddenly asked noticing your stares that had been gettinglonger now. She looked at her feet to see what was drawing your attention.
"Yeah sorry I was just thinking about something " You said barely containing your cheeks growing red.
"Oh, sure no problem" Michelle answered smiling has she dangled her flat around using her toes. You avoided glancing at it and instead looked at the new intern's smiling face. "Denise wanted to see us by the way."
What? You definitely didn't want to see her now. This snake of a woman. She was probably so proud having stolen this opportunity from you!
"Yeah ok I've gotta take some documents from the receiption anyways." You said in a careless voice.
As you walked to the reception you tried to avoid Candice's smirking face and headed to Jenny.
"Hey Jenny , I've got some documents to take, how are you?"
"I'm fine thank you , yes they're here." She smiled but you saw she was a bit uneasy "So... Denise is the one mentoring Michelle I heard?"
You rolled your eyes not wanting to talk too much about it "Yeah, I have too much work to do anyways. "
Candice couldn't help but sneak in the conversation. "Hi again Michelle, is your first day going well ?" You all turned towards Michelle.
"I didn't do too much yet but Denise asked me to take some papers for her."
"Oh, hi James, sorry it didn't go well with Kim...what happened exactly? " Candice suddenly turned towards you smirking. You weren't falling into her trap to highlight how the manager humiliated you in front of Michelle and Jenny. You are pretty sure she had been sharing this with everyone she had been talking to already.
Seeing Jenny and Michelle's curious faces you felt you couldn't avoid giving a little explanation though.
"Well Kim and I just had a little disagreement concerning her decision but nothing big," you said, justtrying to get away from here. You waved to Michelle to follow up but she was focused on Candice.
"From what I heared it was a bit more than a disagreement." Michelle and the receptionist chuckled a bit they had probably talked about that already/ Jenny tried to focus on something else and acted as she was working on it to avoid seeing your embarrassment.
"Yeah whatever, Michelle, you didn't say we had to see Denise ? Come on, I have stuff to do."
Without further word you stepped away. Michelle waved goodbye to her newfound friends who warmly waved her back.
