You suddenly heard a shout that startled you and made you stop enjoying the show that Michelle's toes were providing
"Hey, did you forget to introduce me or what?"
It was Denise, your arch rival for a potential management position that could be on the cards on the short term and that you deliberately steered Michelle away from to avoid unnecessary drama. However, Denise had no problem bringing the drama to you and you didn't really have a good excuse for what you did.
"Yeah, we were going to just..." you started to say unconvincingly, but Denise saw through the attempt and just addressed Michelle instead
"I'm Denise, nice to meet you! I work in the sales department James here does but will soon be promoted to management, so if you want higher quality mentorship feel free to visit my office anytime" she said smiling. You seethed as there she went again, trying to steal work from you so she could look better and take you down in the process.
"Don't you have anything better to do?" you asked trying to hide your irritation. You noticed Michelle seemed to spark a bit from the disinterest she showed earlier, seemingly enjoying the confrontation.
"I do, however I cannot let the newbies miss out on any valuable information due to the incompetence of their mentors. Now do you have everything you need, Michelle?" she answered, just enraging you more as with her words she showed you were less important than the newbie you were supposed to mentor
You were about to continue when Michelle spoke up "Actually I do, James here doesn't know if I will have my own email address. I think it's quite important to have one"
"Sure, you already have one since we always have these things ready for new employees, didn't he tell you that?"
Thanks to Michelle's quick question you knew Denise had won this battle, she successfully managed to make you look like a fool in front of the person you were mentoring, and once you noticed that not only Denise but both women were smirking at you, you lowered your eyes to the floor in defeat.
As Michelle thanked Denise and promised to visit her office for any other question she had, you were entranced once again by Michelle's beautiful toes in her flats, while also noticing Denise's sharp stilettos. You wondered for a second how did Denise feet look, considering they weren't likely to be as well taken for as Michelle's given the backgrounds each women have, but the thought quickly went away as your hatred for her bitchiness easily overcame your fetish.
