Kellen took his lady to the salon. He thought she was so wonderful and wanted to treat her right. When he got to the Salon, he asked the attendant for the works because nothing was was too good for her. The attendant started to work on Kellen's fingernails. She had very few male clients who wanted the extensive work that Kellen wanted on his hand. The attendant laid out the options such as the color and designs to be used on his nails. It seemed a bit dd that Kellen talked to himself before choosing, but who was she to judge. What the attendant perceived as Kellen talking to himself was in fact Kellen asking his hand what she would prefer.
Soon the attendant was finished with one hand, but Kellen wouldn't let her do anything to the other hand. He told her "What is wrong with you? Do you think I'm gay?"
The attendant didn't know what to think, but if the customer only wanted what hand done that was fine with her. Regardless the customer would pay full price.
After the manicure, Kellen took his hand out to a jewelry shop. He wanted to give her a nice ring to show everyone, this 'girl' was his. They he got her a glove for when it was cold and several creams and ointments to keep his love smooth and soft. When he was finished he returned home. He was a bit nervous. he had to introduce his new girlfriend to his parents. he was also unsure of how his parents would react that his girlfriend would be living with him in his room. He hoped they would understand. He loved her so much and she had no where else to go. If his parents wouldn't allow her to stay, Kellen thought, then he would leave with her.
But that could wait for a little while. This was Kellen's first real girlfriend and he was still floating on cloud nine as he walked home.
