“Human, if you could come with us, we have much to discuss,” Yedah interrupts your thought process.
“Of course,” you respond, desiring to appease whatever the Ufu say. You go to Iyafya and Yedah, and they start to lead you through the crowd, with security clearing a path for you. The two Ufu take you inside the Capitol building to a room with many tables and devices, which you presume is a science lab.
“Please sit down,” Yedah gestures you to one of the tables. You do so, and three more Ufu, who you believe are scientists, enter the room. “These are my assistants. Right now, you are in the foreign species lab of Uf Prime. It is the first place that we take new species to when we meet them. We want to learn about your species, and the best way to start to learn about you is through a physical. Are we ready?” One of the Ufi assistants nods her head, so Yedah continues, “Could you please stand up and go to my assistant Allena? She will measure your height and weight so we can get a base measurement for humans.”
You stand up and head over to Allena, who has you stand against the wall of the room. When you go against the wall, she places her feathery hand at the top of your head, motioning for you to step away. “Subject is around thirty-three woffs tall,” Allena announces, and Erin tells you that this converts to 1.65 m on Earth through your ear translator.
“Thank you,” Yedah replies. “For comparison, Ufu are usually around twenty-eight to thirty woffs tall, so it appears that humans are slightly taller than us. Next up, Allena will take your weight on the scale.”
Allena motions for you to come over and step onto a scale. When you get on, some strange numbers show up on the screen. “Subject is 1572 joals,” she reports she indicates that you can get off. Erin quickly gives you a conversion to around 69 kilograms.
“That sounds like a reasonable weight,” Yedah observes. “The typical Ufi is somewhere around 1600 joals, so we are very similar races. Now for the last part of the physical, we need you to lie down on the table. We also need you to remove your shoes and socks, as they will get in the way. Lastly, you need to raise the top part of your spacesuit so that we can see your stomach.”
Although you find the last two requests a little strange, you think to yourself that the Ufu probably have good reasons for what they are asking you to do. In accordance with this, you bend down and remove your shoes and socks. You get up onto the table and then pull up the top of your spacesuit, showing off your slender abdomen to the aliens. Once this is done, you lay down, feeling the coldness of the table on your bare back. “Please raise your arms in the air,” Allena requests. You obey, and one of the Ufi straps your wrists to the table; while this is happening, another Ufi straps your ankles down. “I apologize if this seems mean, but it is necessary for the test. In addition to the restraints, we are going to hook up some equipment to you so that we can measure the results.”
You nod and lift your head up. “I don’t mean to sound intrusive, but what exactly is this test?” you ask Yedah.
“In accordance with our desire that our races share both friendship and laughter, we need to test how ticklish you are,” the Science Minister notifies you. “In addition to this, the test will show where you are most ticklish, which will tell us how we both can best enjoy the relationship between our species.”
“Alright,” you state, now a little nervous, although it does not show on the outside. You are very ticklish, and now the Ufu have you tied up just for tickling. Then again, it couldn’t be that bad, could it? It is just tickling, not some form of torture that they will use against you. Suddenly, you remember something that makes you shiver, although not enough for anyone to notice: Yedah made you bare your belly and your feet in preparation for the test.
“Okay, I think we are ready to begin the test,” Allena proclaims. While you were asking Yedah about the test and thinking about what was to come, she had hooked up all the equipment to your arms and legs. “We will start with the alien’s…”
