Being the only girl, Alexia was always picked on by her three older brothers and had grown to dislike them because of their antics.
14-year-old Lenny was the oldest and thought that he had all the knowledge in the world and that whatever anyone else said was just a matter of opinion. Lenny always had to be right and argued with anyone else that told him differently. Being the oldest, the other two brothers looked up to him and tried to follow his examples.
12-year-old Dominic or Dom was the middle of the three and sometimes was the butt of the other brother's jokes. For this, Dom always tried to find reasons to turn direct them to Alexia, which most of the time worked. Dom was always seeking Lenny's approval on anything in fear that Lenny might reject him. The true brown-noser of the family.
Last came 9-year-old Zack, the prankster. The only problem was that Zack only pranked one person, Alexia. Whether it came to scaring her with a Halloween mask or stuffing ice cubes down her back just to watch her squirm around trying to get them out, Zack didn't care and got a kick out of it. The last time he tried to prank Lenny, Zack got a black eye that took about two weeks to heal, while Dom ripped off Zack's eyebrows with a waxing strip for making Dom literally piss himself laughing.
Alexia's parents were no better. Her mother Sandra let the boys get away with murder, while if Alexia came home with a "C" on her report card she would be punished for a month. Sandra always demanded perfection from Alexia. Her room and closet had to be perfect and she had to wear clothes that were only approved by her mother.
Last came her stepfather Victor. An alcoholic if there ever was one. Alexia's real father passed away when she was a baby so she never got the chance to get to know him. Victor was the one person that Alexia always felt uncomfortable around and wished he would just disappear.
"So many choices for who to mess with," Alexia thought to herself.
