Shepard observed his surroundings. He was standing on a large, empty platform. In the distance, he saw human figures, but something was off. They had to be gigantic. He then reminded himself of what EDI had told him. In this universe, females were giants.
Suddenly, the ground shook. Shepard gasped as a gigantic form rose up from behind the platform's edge. Red hair, green eyes, bigger than his head, a nose and red lips, wearing a smile. It was his sister's face, but her head alone was almost three times bigger than his entire body.
"Finally, you've arrived, little brother. How have you been?" She was speaking softly and yet, her voice shook his entire world.
"I'm... I'm fine. Thanks."
She smiled. "That's great. Then come on. We are in a hurry. You still want to be part of my crew, right?" She winked.
Shepard nodded. Her sister had been energetic and intimidating when they were the same size, and now, it was even worse. But if he ever wanted to compete with her, he had to face this. "Alright. Where are we headed?"
"Omega. We need to see Aria. If we want to preserve order in the galaxy, it is essential to secure her support."
All of a sudden, to fast for something so big, her hand appeared. Its shadow engulfed Shepard as it slowly descended onto him. He had to muster all of his self-control to not cower. Jane's giant fingers picked him up, dragged him at high speed through the air and put him on her shoulder. "There. Now, the crew can easily see you." She pondered. "I'm sure we will find something for you to do. You have some field experience, so you can support us from the ship with tactical information."
"No." Shepard had said it without thinking. But he could not stay behind. If he wanted to build a reputation, he had to go in himself. "I want to accompany you."
Jane looked surprise, but then nodded. "If you want to. But please, don't get too intimidated when we deal with Aria."
"Don't worry. I'm slowly getting used to talking to someone as big as you."
His sister looked at him, confused. "You know how big Asaris are, right? The size of human females varies between 200 to 300 feet, but other races have different sizes. Asari, as a female only race, are especially big. But I'm sure you can be convincing, even when you are the site of an ant to her." She giggled and poked Shepard teasingly, almost throwing him off her shoulder.
The little commander gulped. What had he gotten himself into.
