“I’m sorry—“ / “Oh my bad—“ two voices said simultaneously.
There was an awkward silence as the two of us looked up at eachother. There was another boy standing across from me, wearing khaki pants and a nice button up and cardigan. He has thick glasses on his face and he had auburn hair that was frizzy and long, reaching his shoulders. He had a very soft and delicate face and his eyes were big and round like a doe’s eyes.
The backpack he has on his back was big and crammed to the brim with school supplies and all manners of geeky and nerdy stuff. I could even spy some magazines for sci-fi and fantasy genres in there!
Overall, he seemed like a very stereotypical nerd! Not helping him was when my eyes wandered down a bit and he steadily got…wider. He was quite slender and tall, standing at 5’7 but his hips were quite feminine, being wide and full. Not to mention he was packing quite a bakery with how round and bubbly his buttocks were! But I quickly shook those distractions away, aiming instead to introduce myself to the first person I inadvertently met by bumping into them.
“Oh I’m sorry,” I said shyly, “I didn’t mean to bump into you. My name is [Anon].”
Luckily, the nerd didn’t seem too bothered, giving me an awkward wave despite being in front of him. “H-Hi [Anon], m-my name is Autumn. I-It’s nice to meet you.”
“So…heading to first period right?” I said awkwardly, hoping to make small talk.
“Well it is early in the day. 1st period is typically the first period we go to.” Autumn said matter of factly. “That’s obvious.”
“Uhm…y-yeah that’s right sorry…” I mumbled in mild embarrassment. But Autumn blanched and rubbed his head.
“Sorry…that was awkward. Yes! I-I’m going to first period…want to join me?” he asked, giving me a shy grin.
I shrugged and that seemed to be enough for him. We yelped as a few impatient students rushed past us, pushing and shoving anyone too slow in the way. Autumn got shoved against me and he yelped as he dropped some stuff from his bag, all of it clattering to the ground.
As he bent over to pick them up, I got an eyeful of very colorful prints. Sticking above his khaki pants was a thick waistband! Moreover, it wasn’t just tighty whities, but flower printed briefs too! And it colorfully said “Autumn Adair” in the waistband.
He was a total nerd magnet and I could feel everyone’s gaze on us as they passed by.
