Here's a couple of options for an artificial 'female' specimen who grows far beyond what her creators had likely intended.
Flora is the result of a forgone experiment to combine human and plant DNA into a single organism, with the idea being to allow the human body to subtly produce its own food to help combat world hunger. What they ended up with was an intelligent, mobile plant that greatly resembles a (very voluptuous) human female in her 20's. Much of her 'inner workings' is a complete mystery, as the scientists that accidentally created her have yet to replicate the result and no one having the heart to cut her open to find out. While some officials naturally worry if she's but the first of a new species that will replace humanity, Flora is only curious of humans, and would never intentionally harm them unless given no other alternative to defend herself or those around her.
Her greatest concern, however, is her growth. Flora tends to grow like a weed when exposed to natural sunlight for more than a couple hours or so, and while she does gradually shrinks back down to her nearly 8 foot height once no longer exposed to it, she worries what may happen if she grows too big to avoid direct sunlight. Is there a limit to how large she can get? Frustratingly for her, once she begins to grow it's VERY difficult to focus on getting out of the sun to stop her growth and allow herself to return to normal due to the tremendous pleasure it causes her...
Wanda is barely a year old, yet looks to be 13. She looks just like any other 13 year old girl, acts... mostly like one, and is generally treated like one by the public - which marks her as a stunning success so far. Wanda is in fact an android, a robot. Her appearance and programming are what some would claim to be disturbingly closely based on the lead developer's deceased daughter, who Wanda was named after. There are a superstitious few that believe the girl's spirit possessed the robot's body from the moment it came online, as the girl passed away not a few moments before in the hospital... or maybe they're just trying to find an explanation for why no other robot since her creation has performed even remotely as well. Whatever the case, the lead developer is happy to have his daughter in some form.
However, Wanda's puberty program is due to kick in any day now. The robot girl's body is designed to gradually expand and develop on its own until it reaches her estimated size and proportions as an adult. They predicted that by the time that Wanda the human girl finished puberty she'd be slightly above average, but the developer never told anyone about his daughter's long held desire to be a beautiful, towering giantess that would protect and be loved by everyone. Whether due to a glitch in the program or her own desires, Wanda will be far surpassing her intended parameters...
