Cassie was a normal 11 year old girl, with blonde hair, although this summer things were going to change. She lives in England and just like the rest of her country, children were getting fat. It all started one night when she awoke hungry. Her clock read 11:34 PM, and as it would be the first day of vacation she decided to get up and get some food. She walked downstairs and opened the pantry. She found several fattening treats her mother had recently bought and too as much as she could carry up to her room.
Once there she closed her door and ate the candy. Each candy was extremely tasty, and she needed MORE. She continued until she had finished the snacks and her belly couldn’t hold any more. Then Cassie fell asleep.
She awoke the next morning at 9:00 and went downstairs. Her mother was her only parent as her father had died a few years ago and thus her mother had to work extra to support the family. Lately, her mother had been getting cheap fattening food to save money. While her diet hadn’t had any visible effects yet, it would drastically change Cassie over the summer.
