What she hadn't noticed was words being painted over.
The sign in fact said "EVER GROWTH RAY" with a disclaimer in small alien text warning that it would cause the one exposed to it to have random continued growth spurts until cured.
Of course the aliens who abducted Yuka weren't concerned.
In fact Yuka didn't realize how microscopic she was in comparison to the planet she was on much the surrounding planets and her captors.
She was unaware she was part of an experiment and zoo in the "Mega-Verse"
( see edits in interactive description as well as chapter 1 )
The planet she was on was literally billions of times the size of earth
the surrounding planets larger still and the aliens unfathomably larger.
To them Yuka and the makeshift solar system they created for were all microbes.
Yuka's new universe was there merely to contain her even once she outgrew her fake Earth
Just to be safe though her universe was actually just a universe within a universe within yet another universe.
These 3 universes were each larger than the next and fashioned to allow the Earth child as they viewed her plenty of room to grow and explore yet give her nutrition and keep her from aging.
Anyway back to Yuka....
The young little Yuka steps onto the pad as she hopes that she can fix her regressive body issue. "Hopefully this ray will get me back to normal." She said sheepishly just as she then is hit by the lightning bolt like beam.
She gets zapped almost as if being shocked but is somehow unharmed.
It lasts a few minutes then stops.
Yuka looks around.
The device seems to have had no effect on her.
"Aww it didn't work I'm still widdle"
Yuka walked off sadly.
However a few minutes later Yuka felt strange.
She shrugged it off.
A faint glow surrounded her.
Suddenly she was starting to grow.
Her panties were growing with her.
That coupled with the fact she was so focused on fixing her age problem among other things kept her from even noticing she was slowly growing.
Yuka's growth soon ended with her being an unusually tall 5 foot tall 3 year old version of herself.
Yuka continued to look around the school for something to help unaware the ray had worked sort of or that
she had what would be the 1st of many growth spurts.
