Although she was expecting something like a skeleton warrior, or, at worst, a bonelord, Avoni was shocked to see a tremendous Daedroth prowling in the room ahead. Standing at eight feet tall, the massive, bipedal reptilian creature was strapped with muscle and covered in dull scales. Huge yellowed teeth poked out of its massive, alligator-like jaws, and its eyes shifted back and forth.
Either the powerful creature had sensed her before she had seen it, or it had just so happened to be looking her way when she poked around the corner, but the creature had noticed her. This was, of course, very bad for Avoni, whose eyes widened when she saw the monster's eyes narrow, as it began to walk toward her.
Quickly powering up a spell, Avoni fired at the Daedra who, due to its size, took the blast head on. The Daedroth recovered quickly enough, however, and charged at Avoni, letting out a roar. The dunmer girl dodged its attacks and pulled out her dagger, just quick enough to escape its clutches.
However, even though the Daedroth was hulking enough to hit once, it was far from slow. Before Avoni could regain her stance, the creature fired off a magical attack, hitting her and sending her flying. Avoni yelped as she flew backwards and hit the wall, having forgotten about the magical capabilities all Daedra had...
Whimpering with pain, Avoni swung her dagger at the advancing beast, only to have it swipe the weapon out of her hand with one powerful claw. A moment later, the Dunmer's entire world was upside down as the Daedroth grabbed her and hoisted her up by her legs. Avoni screamed as she wiggled about, helpless in the creature's grip as it sniffed her, mouth watering...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
