"What are you doing? I really don't have the time for this game, Hannah, so quit it" you demanded, as Hannah finished reading her spell. She had barely finished when a white pulse of light emitted from the book, blinding you both. Still blind, you said, "How did you do that? I want answers, young lady."
"I don't know, John. I just read a spell for us to go somewhere interesting" Hannah said, her voice showing she was just as surprised as you were. "It's your book. How did you do that light trick? I feel sick...."
"I didn't do this, and neither did you... Melanie. Is this some kind of joke?" you said angrily. The fact you couldn't see didn't help your temperament either. Five minutes later, your vision started to clear from the flash blindness and once you could see again, you saw that you weren't in your bedroom anymore. It looked like some storeroom, or basement.
"Hannah? Can you see?" you asked.
"Not really" your sister said sourly. "Why?"
"We're not in my room anymore. Any idea what happened?" you said, wondering if the flash had also knocked you out.
"It's magic, John. grab the book" Hannah said somewhat excitedly.
"Damn it, Hannah. Magic isn't real. There has to be a logical explanation" you said as you leant down for the book. Surprisingly, It was gone. That confirmed it in your mind. The flash from whatever it was, knocked you and Hannah out. You were likely in the basement or something like that.
"Hey, look at this" Hannah said, seemingly fully recovered. Sighing, you wondered what had gotten her excited
