The mirror begins to glow

The mirror begins to glow bright as you get near it. It's glow envelops the room in a strange color as you stand before it. Shielding your eyes from the strange phenomenon, you become worried as to what is happening.

In your own life, no mirror you have come across has ever done such a thing like this. But perhaps your mom bought the mirror to make an in-room light show or something. Then again none of this makes sense anyway, especially with it doing this automatically. Questioning it all, you wonder what will happen next.
