How about a Role Exchanger story?

Thought up by Morpheus, the Role Exchanger is an alien entity in the form of a glowing blue light that can sometimes be seen but most of the time remains invisible to the human eye. It's sole purpose is on experimentation of the human species (in this case). It swaps around the mental and physical traits of people, regardless of age or gender, then observes the subsequent reactions.
