Link panted, struggling to to catch his breath as he leaned onto the sword he planted into the ground for support. The blonde was exhausted, the Hylian army had just fought a long and tiring battle, one they come out of victorious. As one of the many soldiers serving on the front lines, Link needed to rest.
"Master, I detect that you are experiencing high levels of exhaustion. I suggest laying down in bed and resting, along with drinking an ample amount of water." Fi stated, floating by Link's side. The sword spirit had fought with Link during the battle.
"*Y-yeah. *Huff* that sounds *huff* that sounds good." Link responded, he really wished that he could just fall asleep right now.
"I think I have a better idea." Zelda said as she walked towards the pair. She had participated in the battle just as much as they had, which meant that she was just as exhausted. "Since we've just brought Hyrule a large victory, I say we have an even larger feast! We'll stuff ourselves till our bellies are stuffed to the brim." The gluttonous princess gave her stomach a few pats for emphasis.
"That'd be great, Zelda." Link said.
"I do not see how overeating to such an extant would aid us." Fi replied. "Do you and Link not normally avoid doing so?"
"That's part of the fun." Zelda explained, smiling in a friendly manner. "It's us letting go of all our worries and just enjoying ourselves. And enjoying all that tasty food. Mmmm." She rubbed her tummy in excitement as she imagined all the yummy food she would devour tonight.
"I see. I would like to enjoy this feast with you and master, if you would allow it" Fi said, she was curious as to what this experience would be like.
"Of course!" Zelda enthusiastically answered. "I'd be disappointed if you didn't join us."
"As would I but can you even eat, Fi?" Link asked, the blonde had never actually seen Fi eat or even see her hungry.
"Yes" The sword spirit answered. "The inside of my body is identical to yours. However, it would only function if there was a need for it to do so, like if I were to eat."
"Well, you're going to be doing a lot of that tonight." Zelda said, a big smile on her face. "Get ready to have a stuffed belly, Fi!"
Hours later, during the night, a truly massive feast laid before Fi, Link, and Zelda. When Zelda said they were going to have large feast, she wasn't kidding. The table in Zelda's private room was filled to the brim with tons of delicious and fattening foods, such as cakes, pies, hams, and much more.
"This looks amazing, Zelda!" Link said, nearly drooling as he breathed in the delectable aroma.
"Thanks, Link. And you can bet that it tastes even better." Zelda said, she couldn't wait to start stuffing herself.
A loud rumble escaped Link's and Zelda's guts. Sheepish grins appeared on their blushing faces. Fi felt a twinge of envy at the sight, she often wondered what it would be like to be normal like her close friends.
"What are we waiting for? Let's dig in!" Zelda enthusiastically said immediately before she and Link began eating. Fi briefly looked around the room for a shovel before quickly realizing that "dig in" in this case was an expression.
Fi picked up an apple and took a bite out of it, she paused for a moment to take in just how delicious it tasted, a blush appeared on her face for the first time in her life. She quickly finished the entire thing and immediately looked for something else to eat. She ate a whole loaf of bread and then devoured an entire tray of pie. her gluttony did not go unnoticed by Link and Zelda
"I'm glad that you're enjoying the food, Fi." Link said, he and Zelda were pretty surprised with how fast Fi was eating.
"I-I-It's delicious." Fi stuttered, she was completely overcome by the sensation she was feeling.
"It feels wonderful to enjoy yourself, doesn't it?" " Zelda said.
Fi nodded, her unfamiliarity with the situation was obvious in her eyes. She released a loud, unladylike burp and blushed.
"Excuse me." Fi stated.
"Good one, Fi!" Zelda complimented, grinning.
"You're not upset?" Fi was confused, she was certain that belching was considered rude.
"Of course not." Zelda released an unladylike belch of her own. "Tonight is all about having fun."
Fi looked towards Link for his thoughts on the matter.
"Enjoy yourself, Fi." Link said with a warm smile.
"I shall, master."
