The smell of Auggie's diaper (Yuck)

"Auggie gross!"Riley yells as she holds her brother away by his pits, "Mom, Auggie needs a change." "Hey you try eating Dad's chilli when you aren't potty trained and see how long you last."Auggie pouts. "What's wrong with my chilli?" Cory, Auggie and Riley's,dad asks as Topanga, their mom, takes Auggie from Riley. "Your chilli is fine honey, "She lies as she carries Auggie back to his room, just a bit spicy for a 5 year old." "Yeah spicy like lava."Auggie mumbles as they enter his bed room and he is set down on his bed. In no time flat he is changed and in a fresh thick diaper. "Ahh there is nothing better then a clean diaper."He laughs as he get off his bed before realizing a all to familiar design on his new diaper, "Wait a minute.........Mom why am I wearing a diaper with balloons and next year on it?" "Because it's New year's eve honey."She replies with a smile.

Auggie knew what that meant all to well. It was a plan that Riley had come up with back when they first tried to potty train him. As long as he needed diapers for anything besides night time accidents he was to play baby new year during New year's. Last year it wasn't to bad since it was just his family and a few friends like Maya but this year Riley invited all her friends. While Auggie saw nothing wrong with still needing diapers he still didn't want people to know about them. "Ahhhhh come on mom do I have to?" He whines as he give a little puppy dog look. "Tell you what if you promise to try and I mean really try potty training again we will tell them it is just a costume ok?" She replies picking him up. "I promise I will."Auggie replies in an instant.

Granted telling people he was wearing an embarrassing outfit still sucked it was better then them finding out he actually needed them. Only thing was Auggie was lying through his teeth, he liked the freedom his diapers gave him. He could play longer without potty breaks and he could watch an entire movie without pausing it. He just hoped that his mom didn't see through his lie.
