This choice: Both Blake and Velvet drink from the fountain, and they both are regressed • Go Back...Chapter #5Both Blake and Velvet drink from the fountain, ... by: GrimmHunter   Both girls are desperate to quench their thirst as they stare at the fountain. Blake immediately drops her canteen below the waters surface allowing it to fill to the top. Once it’s full she holds it up and just as she’s about to take a drink, Velvet grabs her wrist to stop her.
“Hey!” Blake shouted, then she looked at Velvet in confusion.
“Blake wait, I know you’re thirsty. I’m am to, but we shouldn’t rush. We should give it a quick test first.”
Blake let out an annoyed sigh but she knew Velvet had a point.
“Your right Velvet, just please make it quick!”
Velvet nodded in agreement and got right to work, she filled her canteen and then poured a small amount of the water into the cap. She then took out a test strip from a small survival kit that she always brought with her on a mission. The strip was designed to turn black at any sign of toxins in the water, when it turned blue that was the all clear that Velvet was looking for.
“Well, it seems to be clean.”
Velvet then brought her canteen to her lips and took a small drink, it was the purest tasting water she had ever tried.
“Wow! That is so good, I think it’s ok...Blake?”
By the time she looked over at her teammate, Blake had already taken a big gulp of the water from the canteen. A moment later, Velvet began to feel strange. An odd tingle was moving all throughout her body, she also felt her clothes were starting feel a bit loose on her.
“Whaa, what’s this?!”
The feeling stopped and she looked herself over, her clothes had loosened up, not fitting as snuggly as they once did. She then leaned over the edge of the fountain to see her reflection in the water. The once 18 year old now looked like she was around 14.
“What the...?! Did the water do this?! Then that means...!”
Velvet looked up in a panic as she watched Blake raise her canteen, getting ready to take another drink.
“Blake...STOP!!!” She yelled out, desperately trying to get her friends attention.
“Velvet?! What’s wrong?!”
Blake looked at Velvet and noticed how her clothes were fitting.
“What happened to your Clothes?!”
Suddenly, Blake began to feel the same tingly feeling Velvet had as she to began to shrink. She could see the room getting bigger as her clothes loosened, she looked at Velvet with confused & fearful eyes.
“Velvet! What’s happening?!”
“I think it’s the water! How much did you drink?!”  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
