The corporate ladder is a one-way street to success. If you want to climb this hellish ladder, you must pull down the assholes above. Finn learned this maxim several years since he applied here - a regional office of a large multimedia company. He did what he could to reach his current place. He mingled, gossiped, backstabbed, sucked up to his boss, and many other things he is forgetting or otherwise embarrassed to recall.
Now? Finn is in a comfortable position, has a fat paycheck, and burnt bridges behind him. And yet, this does not satisfy him. While being at the top does not entice him, it is not his life's dream to be in the middle of the ladder. He knew life could be better than this. It could, if not for Richard - the stern son of a bitch who is immune to all his attempts at promotion.
Many can feel it. The bitterness between Finn and Richard. You practically hear it in the grinding of Finn's teeth whenever the two passes by in the hallway or the harsh comments Richard would often reserve for Finn. Richard wouldn't even be pissed at the guy if he didn't falsely report him to their supervisor in an attempt to climb the corporate ladder. He was glad that he was close to the supervisor and that he has footage to prove him innocent. That false accusation alone is enough grounds for Finn's suspension. But the rat pulled strings to get him out of trouble. And whatever these strings are, it's something his supervisor could not even tell.
And so, a bitter rivalry existed between the two. The rat and the ox, the older employees would often say. The rat can't climb with the large ox in the way. If his usual means are not enough, Finn would soon acquire a means he would not even imagine.
Magic.
Or so the old crone explained. Which Finn would find to be real when he actually transformed into a ghost. He could fly, phase through objects, and the most important power he was given - possession. Upon knowing this fact, he flew to a nearby fast food chain and possessed the nearest person he could find. Which is a greasy teenager ordering something that could fit into his $10 budget. And boy, what a fight it was. The boy refused to yield his body. His spirit fought hard but it paled in comparison to the willpower of Finn's depravity. He needs strong willpower if he is to survive in the unrepenting corporate world. Their fight seemed to have lasted minutes, but a second has barely passed in the outside world.
In his new body, Finn attained a newfound vigor. Although, he knew this could be so much more if this guy ate more from a healthy menu. He ripped off his clothes and flung his flaccid dick at the customer behind him. It's a hulking brute who must have belonged to a biking guy. Before he could meet the guy's tattooed knuckles, he ditched the teenager's body and returned to the old crone. Who, as he expected, disappeared from the alleyway.
The day is coming to a close. But with these powers, Finn knew the day has just begun. And if he were to possess and use this power, it should be for self-serving means. And what better way to do that than use it to torture Richard, that lumbering ox.
Who did Finn use the power on?
