Kay looked at Edgeworth's outstretched hand, but instead of handing the remote to him she held it far away from him. "Sorry, Mr. Edgeworth, but I think I'll hold onto this for a little while." She said with a giggle, which was extremely unsettling to hear from Edgeworth's body.
Edgeworth was not ammused. "Kay, this is not a time to play around. This was merely an experiment of the device's capabilities, we do not yet know it's full potential. So, if you would kindly just swap us now." Edgeworth demanded while tapping Kay's foot.
Kay barley listened to what Edgeworth had said, but she could tell that he probably didn't want to stay swapped. She was looking at the remote with amazement in her eyes. "Think of all the things we can do with this! Being the greatest thief ever will be a breeze with this."
Edgeworth wasn't pleased with Kay talking about using the remote for thievery, he even less pleased that she was talking about it while in his body. Before he could say anything Kay had began to walk toward the door as she opened the door Edgeworth spoke up. "And just what are you doing?" He asked.
"I'm going out to see how much fun I can have with this remote!" Kay said with a smile.
Edgeworth stomped toward her "Absolutely not, you cannot go out in my body!"
"Well.... catch me if you can!" Kay said and ran out the door, slamming it behind her, the vibrations of the door knocked down the cup of tea Edgeworth had placed down earlier.
Edgeworth tried to catch up with Kay, but circumstances such as Kay slamming the door, her getting to the elevator first, which made him need to take the stairs, and the distractions of Kay's body and clothes made his efforts futile. By the time he made it downstairs Kay was already driving away in his car. Did she even know how to drive?
He considered going after her at this point, but he had no idea where she was even going. She would probably come back when she wanted her body back, he presumed. He decided to go to his office and clean up the mess that Kay had left behind.
