As Apollo thought about who to use the remote on, the door to the office suddenly opened. It caught him a bit off-guard that whoever it was hadn't even bothered knocking, but the bright yellow suit that assaulted his eyes told him who it was before he even saw her face or heard her voice.
Athena Cykes, one of Apollo's coworkers, stepped into the office, and headed straight for her desk. It took her a moment to actually realise that Apollo was present. "Oh, hey Apollo," she said rather nonchalantly.
"Hey Athena," Apollo replied, somewhat surprised to see Athena show up. Perhaps he wouldn't be stuck doing all the paperwork by himself after all. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh, I left my bag here last night, so I was just coming in to get it." Apollo sighed internally. He wasn't an expert on psychology like Athena was, but he couldn't detect a hint of remorse in her voice for leaving him with all the paperwork of the previous case. "What's that?" she asked, gesturing towards the remote still held in Apollo's hand.
"Oh, it's nothing," he replied, not wanting to let her in on what it was just yet. Surprisingly, Athena seemed to accept that, and didn't inquire further. She grabbed her bag from her desk, and headed towards the door again, stepping around all of Trucy's magic equipment.
Apollo hadn't exactly decided on who he wanted to test the remote on, but this seemed like as good an opportunity as anything. "Well, when life gives you lemons, I suppose," he thought to himself. He raised the remote and pointed it at Athena, who was almost out the door. Which button did he try out?
