Molly mistake

Molly walked went outside to get the mail, still with the gun in her grasp.She stood in front of the mailbox trying to hold the large amount of mail and the gun at the same time. She looked around the neighbourhood and saw some of the cheerleaders from school across the way and her family and of course her neighbours.She began to walk back inside when suddenly she trippped and the gun fell forward and landed pressing down on one of the buttons. A beam went past her head and into her neighbourhood but who does it hit and what button was pressed down.
