Roy wondered if he could fix this and change back. Roy quickly targeted the portrait again and rushed back out to target Miranda. Roy ran to catch up to Miranda. He pulled out the device and targeted Miranda yet again.Once again, nothing fancy happened. Roy still looked like Miranda and wondered if he somehow missed. Roy went back to his parent's house and saw the painting changed to a single Miranda. Roy thought about what could it mean, when suddenly he heard his mom coming out of his parent's room and he turned to see what looked like Miranda looking as professional as could be.
"Miranda Roy Milford, what are you doing standing around?" asked Roy's mother.
Roy was shocked to hear that his mother called him Miranda. Roy made up a lie, and decided to hang around the house for a bit. His mom, started to tell him that she was going on a job interview today. Roy and his mom talked for a bit in the kitchen watching some television, while Roy was busy making lunch for later. They both saw Billy outside in the backyard getting some volleyball practice done. Once his mom's favorite show was over, she went to call Billy in.
"Miranda Billy Milford, that's enough exercise, now come inside and wash up." She said.
Billy came inside and said hi to Roy and immediately ran up to take a shower. Roy and his mom sat down and talked some more, it wasn't until they heard the real Miranda come home did they stop and do other things.
Their mom seemed to have rushed out of the house just as fast as Miranda came in. Miranda was bored out of her mind as she went straight to the television and occasionally talked to Roy. Roy learned that in this reality, instead of just being a family of Miranda clones, the family now seems to be focused around Miranda. The three siblings try to play a game of sorts where they each take turns trying to be a single "Miranda Milford" at school for fun. Miranda usually handles the brainy things, Billy handles sports, with Roy doing a balance of both.
"Speaking of Billy, where is he? he should be heading to school now my off period is almost over." Miranda asked.
No sooner than after saying that did Billy come down the stairs in Miranda's gym clothes and carrying her bag.
"Have fun at Gym!" Miranda and Roy said, as Billy headed out.
Roy decided to go explore whatever new reality this was for now, seeing as trying to switch back only made things worse.
