Miranda has the device and knows all about it

Roy realized his hands were empty, the swapper wasn't in either, so he went to go look through his backpack when he heard a car honk. Miranda In Roy's car rolled up.

"Hey sis, want a ride?" Miranda asked.

Roy noted that she called him 'sis' before he accepted and got in the car. He grabbed Miranda's backpack and was opening the bag, when out of the corner of his eye he noticed the role swapper in his old uniform's pocket.

"Hey Roy, what's that you got there?" Roy asked her.

“This thing here? It's nothing, Miranda.” Miranda said, her face blushing.

Then a thought came to Roy, "Did she somehow know about the device? She couldn't!" He decided to test out his theory.

“If it's nothing, please let me see it,” he said.

“Well it doesn't work right now.” said Miranda, trying to draw attention away from the remote. “Trust me, Miranda I'll let you see it once I figure out why it isn't working.”

“So what is it? It must be a little bit important if you are bringing it to work.” pressed Roy.

“It's...just a little something I picked up from the store on the way here." stuttered Miranda.

“It's from another dimension, isn't it, Roy?” he said.

“What?” answered Miranda.

“It was given to you by... an extra-dimensional clone of yourself,” continued Roy. “From another reality. And it can...”

“How do you know that?” cried Miranda.

“Well the truth is I am you. I'm Roy Milford.” laughed Roy.

“What?” said Miranda, scratching her head in confusion.

“That device was given to me,” said Roy. “And I... well, I tested it on you. It switched us around. You're the real Miranda and I'm Roy.”

Miranda shot Roy a look of disbelief.

“How else would I know all of this?” said Roy. “Just look at us I'm a guy... and you're a girl! I know you think you're really Roy Milford and I'm Miranda Milford. But look at us: you have breasts and I don't. Yet, I'm the one wearing a bra... doesn't that seem weird to you?”

"Uh think again!" said Miranda. "I believe your story, I really do. There is no way you could know about this little gizmo otherwise, but I have to tell you Miranda when I look at you I see someone 100% female. You look exactly like Miranda from where I'm standing, and I sure don't see breasts on me when I look down. That part of your story is still pretty unbelievable."

"Well, crazy or not, it isn't what I see!" protested Roy. He gestured at his flat chest, still wearing Miranda's clothes. "I don't see any breasts here at all!"

"Hey, calm down," said Miranda. "Like I said, I believe you. Somehow, this device got used on you... and probably on me as well. I don't remember it happening, but it's the only logical explanation for you being all hysterical. You think I have your body and you have mine."

"No," sighed Roy. "You're still not getting it. I am Roy, but I'm standing here wearing Miranda's clothes. And you're Miranda, but you're standing there wearing my clothes."

"Go look in the mirror," suggested Miranda.

Roy looked each one of the mirrors in the car and was shocked at the sight of Miranda staring back at him in each one.

"Is this what you see?" Roy asked with hushed awe.

Miranda leaned towards Roy and peeked in the mirror. Roy caught a glimpse of his own male reflection in the mirror as she went towards him.

"Yep," said Miranda. "That's us -- looking 100% normal. That isn't how you see reality, Miranda?"

"No," sighed Roy glumly. "And I keep telling you, I'm not Miranda."

"The mirror suggests otherwise," laughed Miranda. "But hey, don't get all upset. Like I said: I believe your story."

"Then you'll switch back with me?" Roy asked hopefully.

"Not a chance!" laughed Miranda again. "I was perfectly happy being Miranda but the last thing we should do is to switch places again!"

"So then what are we supposed to do?" cried Roy.

"Calm down," said Miranda. "The way I see it, we have three options. First, you can accept your new opportunity to restart and live the life of our sister Miranda Milford. I know it seems weird to you... but everyone sees you as Miranda already and you'd have the chance that we had dreamed of."

"What's my other two choices?" sighed Roy.

"We can use our little remote to try and switch us back, although I'm unsure of how easy it will be to get Miranda back. With us switching the remote could simply change us back, or we might run the risk of losing Miranda."

"We could also use the remote to switch you into somebody else's life," said Miranda. "I may not be the original Roy Milford, but it's who I am now. All my memories are of always being Roy. I'm not that eager to become a girl again so soon, much less 'little miss perfect'. If you'd like we could explore using the remote for a while, and then maybe I'll consider going back to being Miranda."

You have the following choices:
