April wasn't sure why, but something about the broom closet seemed like a trap. She decided instead to opt for the laundry chute along the wall. She figured to herself, "Hey, it's clear from this hall full of old underwear that she doesn't use this thing."
April was wrong.
For a terrifying three seconds the girl was dumped and submerged into what felt like a tub of used underpants. She gagged out loud as she dug her way out, each movement forward brushing ten pairs of dirty undergarments against her face. Her nose wouldn't have an easy time forgetting the distinct smell.
Just as April was about to climb out of the laundry, she heard the door to the basement swing open and realized she was going to need to stay hidden. She had to force herself to sink back into the disgusting clothes a bit to avoid being spotted.
The deupty's fox ears perked up, listening intently for the hops coming down the stairs. She was surprised when, instead, she heard what sounded like the footsteps of leather boots rather than the hops of a kangaroo. She peeked her eyes up a little and realized that she was looking at none other than Georgia.
"Are you sure the stable is gonna be able to hold Texas while we're both away?" Georgia shouted back to the kangaroo upstairs as she continued her descent. "I'd hate to have her slip out of our hands before we can have our fun with her."
"No worries mate, Butterscotch is keeping a close eye on her!" came the reply.
April struggled to breathe with her nose buried in the used underwear, and it was getting more and more difficult to bear with each passing second. She was concerned that the near-toxic fumes all around her could knock her out if she didn't peep her head out for fresh air soon. She sure didn't want to find out what would happen if Georgia spotted her, though.
"Sheriff Georgia..." the mare said to herself as she loaded her six-shooter and looked at herself in the mirror. "I like the ring it has to it. Hope Roxxie doesn't mind playing deputy."
April was losing it. The disgusting stench was far too much to bear, and she knew she had to take a breath soon. But could she risk it??
