"... Alright!" Texas choked loudly as took in several breaths of air that reeked to the sky of gas and alcohol, still finding it fresher that the noxious fumes that Annabelle had just blasted her with. As much as she just wanted to run outside, Grizzel was still towering over her and her lungs needed more oxygen for her to run. For now, she was just going to have to bear with this sick little game.
"Whatever it is Anna, better make it quick."
"Easy now little lady. You do this for me and my staff will gladly help you find out where you dear deputy is." Annabelle began as she lightly pushed Texas down onto one of the chairs with a odd softness to her voice that sent a tidal wave of uneasiness down Texas's spine. Oh how much she wished that she listened to her instincts and just booked it out of that door.
"Se now, tonight I was meant to have a special show with my entertainer for the night but your big bad Smiling Jacks ended up getting her assistant trampled by his guys. I'm guessing that was them making their getaway with April.... Lousy lowlifes." The large cow explained with a snappy spit to the side, only now pulling up her pants and squeezing in her buttcheeks one at a time. But while Texas now had a better idea on why she'd want payback against Smiling Jacks the voice in her head was yelling for her to just escape the next chance she could get. Her gut practically was doing backflips to warn her not to trust a word Anna said.
"So, you're gonna be her assistant. Shouldn't be too hard even for you."
It took a lot of willpower for Texas not to just deck Anna across the face for that remark. Even if she did the saloon was still buzzing with thugs who all wanted to have her scream between their cheeks. Anna's offer didn't sound all that bad but Texas knew that behind those eyes was a strong desire for payback. She just needed to figure out how to make her want to get revenge against Smiling Jacks to overshadow her desire to have Texas as her new ass wipe.
"... Sounds like Jacks really doesn't think much of you or your staff. Probably would just keep on running em over if he wins.... So, what exactly is your entertainer's act?"
