When Texas slowly came into consciousness she could barely see a thing. All around her was dark and dank, and smelled horrible. She couldn't move her arms or legs, and she had a horrible pain in her head. She was tied up! Sarah-mae had knocked her unconscious and kidnapped her! Before she could call out into the darkness for help, Sarah-mae stepped out in front of her. But there was something strange about her; Sarah-mae was upside down?!
"Morning sunshine," She said, "You slept well for a gal tied upside-down over a pit of sewage."
Oh, Texas thought, of course. She looked up (or really down) and saw that pit of reeking sewage that Sarah-mae was speaking of. Much to her disgust, it looked fresh.
Sarah-Mae continued, "Now, I'm sure you're wondering where you are. You ain't in Gold Springs, lemme tell ya. You're about two counties over, at the grounds of the annual southern food fair. Course you're not really in the food fair. You're below it. And right now, they should be finishing up with the chili eating contest."
Perfectly on time, there was an echoing flush from somewhere in the sewer and the septic pit below Texas rose up just an inch.
Sara-Mae giggled, "Y'see? Told ya. Now there's an awful big reward for your corpse, and an even bigger one if you get done in with a real embarrassing way. So I figure I'll drown you in shit, then fish ya out in a few hours and collect my reward with your turd-soaked stiff.
"You're not gonna get away with this!" Texas shouted.
Sarah-Mae didn't seem fazed, "Sure I won't. I should get going, I want to try some of the hors d'oeuvres and then flush my shit into your face! Tata!"
Sara-Mae skipped off into the darkness of the sewer. Another flush sounded out at the shit water beneath Texas grew closer, causing her to panic. She started shouting out, but she had no idea how deep in the sewers she was and she had a strong feeling nobody would be coming to her aid anytime soon. She needed to think!
