Climb aboard the California Iron, a luxury cruise ship doomed to tragedy on a cold night. |
"The ship was like no other; so grand. No other ship had a chance to stand. Six massive funnels stood high on deck, With its powerful boilers close in check. It was built for the best; the finest of its kind. Passengers were delighted; not a fault they could find. Nine hundred feet long and full of pride, With the hull measuring three hundred wide. Painted in white letters the name of this liner, Nothing could truly be finer. The letters were evenly spread, R.M.S. California Iron it read. " - From the Sinking of the California Iron by Nicholas De Kruif This interactive story is based off a concept that I had created when I was in 7th grade from a drawing that evolved into a poem and a short novel. The novel was lost and so now I bring to you the story of the California Iron in interactive form so that I may tell the story once more from multiple perspectives. Any additions you wish to add to the story yourself are highly welcomed but will be subject to review as there are a few rules: 1. Keep it PG-13, no sexual content or over grotesque violence or gore 2. The events onboard take place July 27th-July 30th 1927, keep it within that time frame (flashbacks are allowed) 3. Keep things realistic 4. No kinks or fetishes 5. No, you can't "save the ship" it has to go down 6. Yes, people have to die. This is a drama, not a fairy tail with a happy ending.
