"Look away from the burgers."
Yukari's brown eyes avoided the ridiculous pile of Wild Duck burgers like they were an attack from a Shadow. No matter how much she eat, the amount didn't seem to decrease, but that's okay, because with her staring off into the distance that was the rest of Wild Duck Burger, as far as she was concerned, there was only the burger she currently had in her hands. Out of sight, out of mind, even as her belly steadily ballooned up with each burger she filled it with.
"Eat without stopping."
Her belly got bigger and bigger, and like the brunette, showed no signs of slowing down, and her pink off the shoulder top did not make it look any smaller, if anything seeing a big, round gut bulging within the confines of that top just emphasized it's girth. That didn't stop her from eating, nor did the pain of an overstuffed stomach. If you want to win an eating contest, you need to keep up your pace, the second you stop is the second you lose your momentum, that's why she worked through the pain, that's why she HAD to work through the pain.
"Imagine something sour."
And when it came down to the final stretch, the brunette imagined she was eating something sour, something much easier to pack away at full speed then a big, spicy burger. And with her pace kept speedy and steady, her technique followed to the letter, and her mental fortitude as strong as ever the pile of burgers shrunk as it entered her growing tummy.
"BUUUUAAARRRRP! There you -URRRRP- have it!"
And that was how Yukari Takeba managed to eat the entire mountain of burgers, while weighing in just a little under 130 pounds, but now with a belly that was a beachball of burgers. She unleashed a massive belch that signaled her victory, leaning back in her seat and rubbing the massive sphere that was her gut through the soft fabric of her top, smiling proudly and contently.
To the left and right of her were boys and girls in a much more miserable state, all sporting similarly huge bellies and letting out similarly huge belches, but most certainly not emitting an aura even close to what Yukari was, The groaning and moaning they did as they clutched their aching bellies was the polar opposite of that. This was a common sight in the Wild Duck Burger, Yukari would always show up for the monthly eating contest and clear house, as long as she wasn't busy that day, like with her work as a member of SEES. No one would ever expect it from someone like her, but eating contests had always been a passion for the brunette, and she'd been good at it for as long as she could remember.
And yet, that huge stuffed belly she was sporting at the end of every contest would always deflate back to it's normal flat form the next day, not packing on a single pound, even Yukari didn't know how she managed that without any exercise outside of Tartarus runs.
"The winner is Yukari Takeba!" The announcer proclaimed what all the regular expected, the winner letting out another giant burp.
"Whew, man! Bet you weren't expecting that from someone like Yukari, huh?" Junpei said to Minato, both among the crowd that had formed to see this. "I mean, you wouldn't expect this most girls, but especially not someone like Yukari!"
"You told me she always wins, of course I was expecting this." His blue-haired friend bluntly stated, if he held any excitement over this, not an ounce of it was showing.
"Aw, you're no fun."
With a grunt, Yukari hoisted herself out of her seat and wobbled over to where she would have her picture taken, having yours displayed on the "Wall of Wild Winners", along with a special first place badge, was the grand prize for the contest, and thus far she had a picture for each month of this year. This time she went for proudly placing a hand on her belly, with her smile open mid-belch, the way the photo came out made it her favorite yet.
The crowd began dispersing, because not only was the contest over, but Yukari was wobbling over to it with her huge, swaying gut, and they didn't want to risk her accidentally slamming them with it. She came to a stop right in front of Minato and Junpei, her big belly just a few inches away from touching Minato's flat middle, which did not prompt a reaction from him.
Yukari burped again before she spoke. "Hope you two enjoyed it."
"What can I say?" Junpei said with that familiar excited tone and goofy look on his face. "You are like you were 700 pounds!"
"You could say anything other then that." Yukari's expression changed in an instant to one of pure exasperation. After finding a way to sound annoyed even while belching, she put on a smile and turned her attention to Minato. "Minato?"
He shrugged his shoulders. "It was good."
Yukari's face went right back to looking annoyed. "Would it kill you to have a little energy? UUUURRRP!"
