Mackenzie explains to Lily the traditionalism of farting competitions among the women in her family and states that because she is the youngest in the house, she grew up being oppressed by her mother and older sisters in order to foster a desire for revenge. Less capable than the others, Mackenzie's actions were intended to show how terrible it is to be suddenly attacked and to express her most honest desire for help.
