"Oh... oh." Jess said, her tone sounding a little different than before, running her hands through her curly brown hair, "I didn't... think... that you'd notice so quickly. Most would just assume I was in heels, but now that the shoes are off I guess that... is it that obvious?" her bright blue eyes stare directly into Jake's worryingly. "Well, I just noticed your shirt was..." Jake points at her belly button, exposed from her shirt. "Oh dammit." she replied, touching her shirt. Like magic, it expanded downwards and covered her entire torso. She did the same with her shorts as well. Jake looked dumbfounded. "It's you doing this?" "Well, yeah." Jess blushed, "I guess. I dunno. I can control it a little, but... I can't make it stop really...." Jake tries to wrap his mind around what's going on, but decides to drop it, instead asking the obvious, "How much have you grown? Like it total?"
"About seven inches." she replies. "Maybe eight now." she thinks for a second about it, "No. Definitely about eight. I've tried shrinking down the same way I make my clothes get bigger but... it just hasn't been working." "So... okay..." jake thinks, putting down his water, "what of it can you control?" "Well, I can cause objects to grow or shrink, books, clothes, whatever..." she explained, "Can't do other people or animals, I've tried on my parents and dog, doesn't work on them at all, and I can make myself grow, but, honestly, only about an inch of this" she puts her hand on her neck, around where her head used to be, "is intentional. I've tried shrinking myself, as I said, but no such luck." "So... how long has it been since you started growing?" Jake asks. Jess thinks about it for a second, before responding...
