On a distant planet, Samus was walking back to her ship having just finished her latest job from the Galactic Federation, a Federation ship had been transporting many exotic and dangerous creatures when it had crashed on this planet. The surviving crew had already been rescued and it had been Samus’s job to exterminate the surviving creatures to prevent the planet’s ecosystem from being damaged. After a long series of battles, the human/chozo warrior was successful, if not without taking a few hits herself as evident by her now damaged power suit, the armor filled with scratches and cracks along with a large crack across the visor, and was all too eager to collect her pay and get some well-earned rest and she jumped on top of her ship.
However, Samus’s ship had also been damaged by her battle, and while the exterior looked fine a small crack had formed in its warp core. Completely unaware of this Samus entered her ship and deactivated her suit before sitting at the controls and programing the autopilot to take her to Galactic Federation HQ. The ship took off without a problem, quickly exiting the atmosphere and lining up for a warp jump as Samus relaxed in her seat, however as it entered into a warp jump, the entire ship shook as temporal energy flooded out of the crack in the warp core quickly flowing over the unaware hunter during the entire trip.
After several minutes Samus arrived in Federation space, but as her ship came out of warp, she realized immediately that something was wrong as she looked down at herself and saw...
