"Makes sense to go over our plan, I also didn't tell you the best part that will make our life so much easier."
"Better then being able to swap bodies, I don't know if it could be better then that" Jimmy stated figuring Kevin would mention something about being Kristin, but he had no intention of letting Kevin get in Kristin's body not just yet that's why they were going to the hotel.
"When two people swap bodies the one at the control end who hits the button to start the swap has the option of hitting a suggestion button too and the suggestion goes to the other along with their body, like if I'm replacing Kristin I can make her want to keep it a secret while helping me take over her life."
"That's great, no problems to worry about then." Jimmy couldn't believe his ears he tried not seeming to excited but inside he was doing cartwheels. The suggestion he was thinking of all ready started forming in his mind. "So how was your flight," Jimmy made small talk as he drove trying to calm himself and fight the urge to speed,racing through traffic to get to the hotel as quickly as possible.
Getting to the hotel took forever, parking it seemed like every spot was taken, waiting in the hotel lobby for Kevin to check in took an eternity, at least that is how it felt with the device so close and now in his hands waiting for it to be used. Then there were the looks he was getting from strangers in the lobby holding a hula hoop looking device in his hands, if they only knew its power, it was only a matter of minutes before he'd get to experience it. He even thought about running away, disappearing into the crowd, since he was the one holding it but he needed Kevin's help to test it out.
When Kevin arrived with the room key Jimmy wanted to sprint to the room dragging Kevin along with if he had to, but he fought those feelings knowing it was just a few more minutes.
Arriving at the room watching Kevin use the key card and enter the room, following him in and watching him drop off the bag on the bed and turn around, Jimmy knew it was just about time to inform Kevin of the new plan.
"So what's the plan, how do I become Kristin?"
"Actually I was thinking maybe we should test it out here first, we get over to my house and show Kristin and it doesn't work then what? Its fine showing her if I know it works and you'll be her, because we'll be the one in control and she'll be crying her eyes out. However we actually don't know if it works."
"So who should we swap with?"
"I don't like it and I don't want to but I think each other."
"Each other..." you watched his eyes study your body.
"I know it's not want either of us wants but then we know it actually works."
"What about the suggestion button should we test that."
"Maybe, on the other hand if it works and swaps our bodies then we have no reason to believe it wouldn't work even without testing it."
"I guess that makes sense"
"I know you have your heart set on Kristin but this will just make you one step closer" he smiled at Kevin trying to ease his disappointment.
"I know your right, seeing that it works first is the smart thing to do and keeping it just between us the best."
Jimmy smiled "Exactly so lets test this baby out, grab a hold and get ready to get my body."
Jimmy held it up and watched Kevin waiting for him to reach out and grab it. The controls and the suggestive part right in his hands, hoping either Kevin wouldn't notice or if he did care. The second Kevin's hands would touch the other end Jimmy was going to start it up before he could change his mind the only thing he needed to decide and quickly was to try the suggestion swap button or not.
He knew exactly what he'd suggest to, to get rid of one problem, Kevin's desire to ever use the device again. It would be his device and his device alone. It's not like it would be a punishment, he'd be giving Kevin a good life, his life, so much better then the one he has now. Kevin would also still get to get his hands on Kristin's body, just not exactly in the way he wants. More importantly though Jimmy would know Kristin and his daughters are well taken care of, the perfect replacement, who will be happy to have his old life while he gets to explore and find a new even better life for himself. Could he do that to Kevin though, he was the one who gave him this device and the chance to live out his dream, could he really not allow Kevin the chance to live out his. Jimmy needed to decide quickly he watched Kevin's hands come in contact with the device, it was time to start it up.
