Handed over to the police

    by: Whade Author IconMail Icon
"Yes officer I found them sneaking about in my back yard" Mr Jeffries told the police officer at the door.
The girls could not say anything in their defense except "mmph", because they both were tied up and struggling on the floor with old socks in their mouths, Mr Jeffries was not taking any chances while the police got there.

"Must be one of them delinquent youth you hear about, make sure you punish them thoroughly! Put them in a dark cell! With plenty of rats!"
The officer looked doubtful about this but to Summer's regret he wasn't looking at them any friendlier either.
Oh no, Summer's heart cried out, could we have become criminals?

"Come on! Can you walk?" the officer called out for them.
Summer couldn't, being still tied up, but she managed to get herself up and balance herself out on her two feet (as the police officer showed no intent to untie them). Then she hopped to the police car best as she could. Mouse, with some difficulty, like a worm, crawled behind.
Then the car with wailing sirens carried them off to the local police station.

"You kids have been caught trespassing, a serious offense, if you were a little older you could go to jail over this."
a police officer informed them.

Mouse and Summer were scared to death, what if their parents hear about this?
"Oh no if I get punished for breaking the law can I even be a detective anymore" Summer was worried by this the most.
"Oh detective smetective, if you didn't only think about that stuff we wouldn't be in this trouble now in the first place!" Mouse cried out angrily. "This is all your fault!" she said, and pounded on her sister's sides with her fists.

"Well there is a way for you kids to get out of this, you have to accept taking part in our delinquent youth reformation programme."
"Yes! Yes! Anything!"
"Good. I'll take you to meet our psychologist."
The girls were taken over to a smaller interrogation room, where a friendlier officer sat them down and pulled their still-tied legs over the table, securing them to the tabletop with a bit more rope.
"See girls, we usually find that the reason that children misbehave is because their parents aren't paying them enough attention or properly teaching what's right or wrong.
They are spoiling you, in fact. What we need to instill in you is a fear of wanting to commit the crime in the first place.
Our education programme is to show you that you can't commit naughtiness without receiving proportional punishment."

She pulled out a feather from a locker drawer.
"Now, what would you girls like first, the fingers or the feathers?"

You have the following choices:

1. The feathers

2. The fingers

3. "Oh no! I can't take either of those! Please, just let me go!"
