You recently heard about the Renaissance fair and night club.
Before the invasion came up, a Renaissance fair was being set up. After the invasion, you heard that the aliens apparently procured the equipment to have a bit of an affair themselves. Some aliens and some humans are dressed up like knights, but the defining feature of the fair is the ginormous dragoness in place. The fair was used to feed some humans dressed up as knights to the dragoness as part of some mock play for Queen. She'd apparently revel at the knights' failed attempts at overcoming the dragon. Of course, you'd have to worry about other Knights or other Renaissance figures if you were to go down there.
Then there's the night club. You're hardly old enough to go there, but those rules don't really matter right now. Ever since the invasion, the night club got insanely popular. But very little is known about it. All that's known is a bunch of humans are brought in and never taken out, and the club's popular with the aliens for some reason.
