Amy-sitting

They had decided to just go to their hotel, plan their next moves, and continue their investigation the next morning. That is, Summer and Jamie decided. Chris, as always, had her own ideas.
"Shouldn't someone stay here?" she said.
"Why would we?" Jamie asked.
"Well, duh. Amy is obviously hiding something. Do you just want to leave it at that?"
"She seemed nervous. Don't you think someone's threatening her?"
"All the more reason for one of us to stay."
"That actually a good idea," Summer said. "Which one of us should do it?"
