Blake faced a tough decision: grab onto the papers Ruby was helping pick up, or leap onto Indigo's dropped book? The tiny mage eventually settled on getting Ruby's attention...
...but then he quickly changed his mind and ran for Indigo's book, which still lay on the floor.
As she and Ruby continued to pick up the scattered mess, Indigo suddenly spotted a black object moving on the book she raised up from the floor. The Asian girl's eyes widened at what she and the cheer captain saw.
"Eww..." Ruby reacted. "A bug!!"
"Wait a minute..." Indigo said, "that doesn't look like a bug. It looks more like..."
Upon closer inspection, both girls were unable to mask their shock.
"Blake?!"
"I can explain..." Blake spoke up.
"You certainly can," Indigo affirmed. "Excuse me a minute, Ruby..."
"Um...alright..." Ruby replied as her blue-shirted classmate walked off with tiny Blake in tow. The cheerleader was curious about the shrunken boy's new situation...but couldn't do anything at the moment to find out more.
"So..." Indigo began as she walked down the hall, "I take it you're a mage?"
"How did you..." Blake was about to respond, before sighing. "Yeah...I made a deal with ghosts to try and impress Aria."
Indigo stood silent for a moment, Blake shuddering with nervousness in her palm. Did the tiny high-schooler make a fatal mistake?
The truth became clear when Indigo opened her mouth to speak.
