As the giant fork scooped up some of the mac and cheese next to him, Blake was relieved to not have been scooped up with it. The tiny mage saw the fork deposit the food in Jade's mouth, the utensil coming back out empty. The giantess chewed for only a moment before swallowing the soft stuff. Unfortunately, the great fork dug into the macs under tiny Blake, and he found himself raised up to his towering sister's face, anger clear in her emerald eyes.
"So, bro, you think you can just invade people's backpacks?" Jade accused her shrunken brother. "Well, my stomach and I beg to differ!"
"Jade! W-wait!" Blake pleaded. "I can explain...I made a deal with ghosts to toughen myself up and impress Aria..." Aria's eyes widened, surprised at these words. Indigo, on the other hand, was too focused on her own lunch to really know what was going on.
"Sis, I'm only tiny because the spell cost me my size, in return for my toughness...Jade, please! Don't eat me! I don't wanna die!"
Jade was momentarily speechless. Blake did make his way into her backpack without her knowledge...but he was still her older brother.
