“I know. I didn’t know what else I should try so magic felt like the easier way!”
“As opposed to just, y’know, talking to her face to face?” Jade giggled while raising a finger over her brother. “Though you can still do that while you’re so incredibly small. I mean I can hold you between my fingers so easily!”
“Please don’t.” Blake swatted the digit away. “So can you please help me get to Aria?”
“Sure. But my pockets are too full to put you in.” Hearing those words made him think about a pretty bad place to be stuffed in, though thankfully it wasn’t the case when Jade took off her backpack and unzipped it for him.
The inside didn’t look all that pleasing, however. There were a lot of books crammed into such an enclosed space that it’s a mystery as to how Jade didn’t struggle carrying it all to her school. It was too late to consider moving some stuff around before he was dropped on top of a book with Jade about to leave him in the dark.
“Jade, you sure this is safe?” He shouted.
“Totally! Just don’t go anywhere, I’ll find your future girlfriend.” With a smile, she zipped up the bag.
Things began shaking almost immediately. Blake had no time to grab onto something when Jade slipped her backpack and walked down the hall. He rose and then fell onto the book many times with minimal pain, though irritation was certainly guaranteed. Any more of this and he’ll end up falling further inside. It’ll be a mess and he didn’t want that.
