You found yourself speechless at the most recent words to come out of Laura's lips. At first, you had secretly worried that the vampire girl might just want to feed on your life essence...but as it turned out, she was just looking for mortal companionship all this time.
"It's a pity that not everyone lives forever..." Laura frowned softly. "But if you're willing to spend time with me, I will cherish our friendship for however long it lasts."
"W-well..." you began to reply. "That'd be...wonderful!"
A smile crept onto Laura's face...which was rare for a lonesome vampire. "Thank you...that really means a lot!"
Leaning in for a moment, she pursed her lips as her face approached your tiny form. For a moment you were afraid of a painful bloodsucking (or worse, a slow death in stomach acid), but that fear quickly faded when Laura...kissed you! Your cheeks turned a deep red in response.
"I realize you may have a family that misses you greatly..." Laura spoke. "There may be a way to return you to your realm..."
