Years ago in a small town, a strange revolution happened. In it, believe it or not, bodies actually took off their heads, and even stranger, the heads still survived their implausible decapitations! The heads screamed as their heads were either put on new bodies or left detached. Eventually the rebellion ended, the bodies lost their sentience, and some were turned back to normal... but some were not. Rather, the heads that were affected were either conjoined to other people, attached to new bodies, or even permanently detached to their current bodies and could not physically connect to them but still controlled them. Over the years, the affected adjusted to their new forms.
